I absolutely loved this Modern Bohemian 'Glamping' (glamorous camping) themed wedding. It took place at Whispering Springs Wilderness Retreat in Grafton, Ontario. The venue was perfect for the theme of the wedding, since Whispering Springs has luxurious tents with real beds and furniture in them. I loved providing wedding photography services there, and I really hope to attend another wedding there again in the future.. This wedding was full of so many special moments for Renee, Paul, and their son Indy. The couple is expecting their second child soon, and decided to have a gender reveal at the wedding. It was so exciting to see! Pictures from the reveal are below. I had a great time capturing Renee and Paul's wedding. Thank you both for choosing me to be your wedding photographer! Congratulations again on your wedding and your baby on the way! Questions below were answered by the bride;Where did you meet? 10 years ago at a nightclub downtown Toronto through mutual friends. When did you realize that this was the person you would marry? A few weeks after meeting each other although we didn't want to say it out loud. We have since spoke about it and agree we should have just got married back then. Tell us about the proposal: Paul proposed on my birthday by taking me to the jewellery store and telling me to pick out a ring. Tell us about your wedding, such as the theme and why you chose it: A modern Boho Glamping wedding. I love camping and as soon as I saw the forest chapel I fell in love! I grew up in a log house in the forest and the cedar trees and stream reminded me so much of my childhood which is also why I chose to go with ferns instead of flowers. Does the date/season have a special meaning? Not really. It happened to be my my parents 30 th anniversary that weekend but it was a fluke as that was the only day the venue had left. How was the planning process? Did you encounter any roadblocks along the way? Not really. Other than finding out I was pregnant the day before ordering my wedding dress but that was a happy surprise and luckily with my amazing seamstress I was still able to order the dress I was set on. I would say finding a hairstylist was the hardest and most stressful part. After spending $600 on hair trials I ended up doing it myself. What is one thing about your wedding that you will always remember? The ceremony. Wedding VendorsPhotographer: Michelle Lewis Photography in Oshawa
