Courtney and Chris met in a really unique way; in the drive thru at Tim Hortin's. Chris was a customer and they saw each other there every morning until Chris approached Courtney. After dating for years, they had their adorable daughter Skylar. It was so special that she got to be involved in her parents' wedding! I did their engagement photography session, that also doubled up as a family portrait session, last October. You can view the blog post from that engagement session here. They chose Rolling Acres in Bowmanville for their wedding venue because it was nice and homey, and made them feel comfortable. I loved the picturesque property, especially the pond. They had an outdoor ceremony that was officiated by Rev. Ray Cross from Bride's Choice Officiant. Congratulations Courtney and Chris! Thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. I met Madison when we became friends back in high school. She is also a photographer, and she shot my wedding, so it was definitely exciting that she asked me to shoot hers as well. We hire each other for second shooter work quite often as well. Madison and Kyle met through mutual friends 8 years ago, and they knew they were meant to be right away. They got engaged at age 19, but they knew it would be a long engagement. I captured their engagement portraits over 2 years ago (after they had already been engaged for years). Needless to say, this wedding has been such a long awaited day that they dreamed about for years, and now it has finally happened. They are now Mr and Mrs! It was such a perfect day and not a single thing went wrong. The forecast had been calling for rain on their wedding day, for almost a week, but on the day of the wedding the forecast had changed. Thankfully, they were able to have the beautiful outdoor ceremony that they wanted. The skies were bright and blue, and the sun was shining. The wedding was held at The Briars Resort, where they stayed for the weekend. The picturesque property was so much fun to shoot on, because there were so many perfect sports for portraits. The theme was vintage with many music influences, such as music notes and quotes from their shared love of the Beatles. Congratulations on your wedding, Madison and Kyle! It was such a privilege to provide wedding photography for you! Vendors
