Kim and Ryan had the such a lovely backyard wedding in the country! It took place at a family home in Little Britain, which really added to the beautifully intimate atmosphere of their wedding. The rustic theme to it really suited their personalities, as they both love the country. Kim and Ryan met through their farming education at the University of Guelph Kemptville Campus. The personal touches at their wedding were numerous; every detail was thought out and absolutely beautiful. The ceremony featured wooden planks that were wrapped in burlap and supported by hay bales for the guests to sit on, and all of the decor had a country rustic look to it. The wedding centrepieces were little white lanterns, alongside mason jars that were tied off with jute cord and filled with a small bouquet of Baby's Breath, resting on a wooden tree slab. All throughout the property there were little touches that included crates, barrels, Sunflowers and Baby's Breath, and various other rustic pieces. The Bride wore a gorgeous lace wedding dress that was purchased from Brides by Tara and cowboy boots that were from Nelson's Western Boots. The wedding favours matched Kim's shoes, since they were adorable little salt and pepper shakers shaped like cowboy boots. Dinner was catered by Stuttering John's Smokehouse. They arrived with a food truck and barbecued on location so everything was fresh and delicious. The main dish was barbecued pork ribs served on top of roasted potatoes, grilled chicken with a cream sauce, and corn on the cob. Dessert was pie and ice cream. Late night pizza was also served, and it was by Tony's Best Pizza. The bride and groom had their intimate first dance under the stars, also lit up by strung patio lights. To say it was dreamy would be an understatement!
