Rachel and Cameron met with me in March for a consultation, and I knew right away that I wanted to be their wedding photographer. They are planning a very unique wedding for April Fool's Day of 2016. Their wedding is taking place at the beautiful Eglinton Grand theatre in Toronto, Ontario.
For their engagement session, they wanted something unique as well. Their plan was to arrive dressed as the two main characters from The Phantom of the Opera, then after some shots in that theme they had stage makeup done to look like Frankenstein's Monster and the Bride of Frankenstein. Their stage makeup was done by Shannon Philion.
For their engagement session, I knew we had to find an indoor location that was fitting to the theme and I immediately thought a theatre would be perfect. I called around and contacted LIVEact Theatre in Whitby, who went above and beyond to make everything go smoothly. The theatre ended up being perfect for what Rachel and Cameron envisioned.
Rachel and Cameron have a graphic designer who will be creating movie posters using the images from this engagement session, and the posters will be hung at the Eglinton Grand for their wedding. I am so excited to capture their special day! Congratulations to you both!
I met with the Reitano family at Lakeview Park in Oshawa for their family mini session. I really enjoyed working with the 4 of them, and their 'little monkeys' were so well behaved and friendly.
Although this was my first time doing photography for them, I have actually been in contact with Diane Reitano for a little while now, since she is the talented graphic designer and owner of Little Monkey Designs. She designed my beautiful logo and watermark that I absolutely love. You can also find Little Monkey Designs on Facebook.
